An extra cushioned ride that absorbs impact while still maintaining good barefoot feel.

Whether you're transitioning into barefoot shoes or are looking for a healthy alternative to rigid orthotics or other artificially supportive insoles, the Legacy has you fully covered with 6mm of protection.

  • NASA grade materials: The materials we use are THE BEST. Our foam will not squish down over time like other memory foam insoles do, allowing you to put on many more miles, comfortably.
  • Dual-layer technology: Upper layer contours the foot which helps distribute weight over a greater area, leading to reduced pressure points and increased support and stability. Bottom layer reduces peak deceleration G-forces (which means greater shock reduction) and adds durability to the insole.
  • High performance moisture-wicking fabric on top pulls water away keeping your feet drier.
  • Easily trimmed with a pair of sharp scissors.
  • 100% made in USA

    Glad I Found NorthSole!

I have been using the Legacy Extra Cushion insoles to provide extra padding in my LEMS shoes as I work through a painful midfoot issue. These have been just the right amount of cushion to make walking comfortable while also still allowing me to experience the benefits of wearing more minimalist shoes.

    Wow.

Got some xero nexus knits and the insoles felt like a cheese grater. Did some research and came across these. I honestly can't believe that I'm just figuring out that some slightly thicker insoles can give just that little bit more cushion to a barefoot shoe. I feel that the true barefoot shoes are a little bit hard on my feet. I've gone through several different barefoot shoes (splay, vivo, xero sandals etc) and my feet just have some nagging injuries from some longer running and some more cushion is just perfect. So far, they're like heaven and I will update this review of anything changes.

    Fantastic product!

I love wearing barefoot shoes (I use Vivo), but for a variety of reasons, a mixture of diabetes and my weight), I have found that my feet become extremely sore after a few hours of standing / walking on hard surfaces. Someone recommended Northsole, and so even though I had to get them shipped to the UK, I decided to try the Legacy Extra Cushioning. Wow! They have transformed my shoes and my feet! I still get all the benefits of barefoot walking, but now my feet love the experience - they're everything I hoped for and more - worth every penny. Thank you, Northsole, and that anonymous person who recommended them!

    cush with feel

love the responsiveness, lessens fatigue from all the standing and running i do. really great for those transitioning to barefoot shoes. i’ve been in minimal footwear for about 8 years now and although i love feeling the earth below me i also enjoy a smidge of comfort to bridge the gap.
